Bush
Did Not Call North Korea Nuclear Plan 'Unacceptable'
Neither
Bush nor his "chief spokesman" called the North Korean
plan "unacceptable", or suggest any other war-like ultimatum.

US and South Korea needed to continue to seek a peaceful
solution." The New York Times acknowledged on December
16th that its scoop had been "erroneously" attributed
to Bush (and his spokesman.)
